Christmas cards

I love Christmas. Although I find it difficult sometimes to really enjoy the holiday. I get so caught up in buying gifts and working my butt off at The Bar that I sometimes forget why I love Christmas so much. One of the things I love the most about this time of the year is Christmas cards. I love to get my mail and to be reminded of all who love and think about us. Sometimes we forget about that as well. This year I sent out cards with a family picture that Mea took. I think it turned out great! (thanks Mea) Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket sorry the pic is so small! Here are a few other pics from the photo shoot that didn't make the cut.

First Snow

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketAbout a week ago we woke up to beautiful fluffy snow falling! I showed it to Kelaya and decided to get coats on and let her see it up close. She was really excited and kept pointing at the snow and saying "mamma". She was trying to show it to me as if I couldn't see it. Very cute. Then I got cold and had to drag her inside kicking and screaming. (yes my sweet KK kicks and screams. :))Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Pumpkin Patches

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketThis year I went with my Aunt Doris and Aunt Patty to get some pumpkins for Doris' Halloween party. We wnded up going to 2 different patches to get the best pumpkins. The first patch was really cool. The owner had all sorts of stuff like apples and peppers. It was kindof an ecletic place, but still really cool. I got the fresh allpes I wanted, and Kelaya who calls pumpkins 'pupik' got a little white one.Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketPhoto Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Video of Kelaya at Thanksgiving

She was watching a video of herself that she just made. There is no sound, but she was laughing so cute.

Thanksgiving

This year we went to Austin's Aunt Lynda's house for Thanksgiving. We had a really great time. Lynda made a 'tur-duck-kin' for us all to enjoy. I have to say, it was pretty good. The best part about it was there are no bones. Kelaya sat at the table with us and had a few bites of potatoes. I was so happy! This is the first year she has ever eaten Thanksgiving dinner.

After dinner, Austin deciced to take Kelaya out for a walk to burn a few calories. It was so cold out we decided to put Jaime's coat on her. She looked pretty cute!Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketPhoto Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

It's about time!

I have been thinking about starting a blog for about a year now. Why it has taken this long to actually do something about it, we will never know. I have a few posts I need to catch up on, so fow a little while the posts will be going back in time. I hope you enjoy reading about our little family!
